The property is situated about 400 feet above sea level with uninterrupted views over National Trust land to the sea at Seacombe Bay (a 15-20 min walk). From the stile near the house the Priest’s Way footpath leads to the seaside town and blue flag beaches of Swanage and to the walks down to the South West Coast path and the sea.
This is a small and cosy detached former barn situated close to owners property, with panoramic sea views. Access to the Stone Barn is via three purbeck stone steps leading to the front door. Inside, is a studio plan layout with double bedroom area, kitchen & newly fitted bathroom. Kitchen/Lounge area has a dining table, couch and Freeview TV with integral DVD. The kitchen has a ceramic hob and microwave/grill, fridge, butlers sink, kettle & toaster. The large private garden has beautiful sea views, outside table and chairs.
Worth Matravers is a pretty Purbeck stone village located about 4 miles South of Corfe Castle and about 3 miles West of Swanage, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and overlooking the World Heritage stretch of coastline. The area is popular with walkers, nature lovers, fishermen and cyclists. Worth Matravers unspoilt popular pub, the Square & Compass is a 5min walk from the property. |

Inland on your holiday in Dorset you can enjoy the rolling hills that are so characteristic of the county and explore what has become known as “Thomas Hardy Country”.
The county town of Dorchester, with its High Street lined with 17th and 18th Century houses, is little changed from Hardy’s day, while the pretty town of Shaftesbury has been used as a location in countless films set in Olde England.
